A social and friendly archery club in Dorset
The Bowmen of Lytchett is a target archery club based in Wareham, Dorset.
We have a diverse membership shooting barebow, compound, longbow and recurve style bows.
We shoot at Purbeck Sports Centre in Wareham throughout the year, and at Lytchett Minster School for indoor sessions during the winter.

For those wanting to take up archery we run a number of beginners courses throughout the year which will set you up with the necessary experience and confidence to get out on the archery field shooting with the rest of the club.
We are always ready to welcome experienced archers who are looking for a new archery home.

The club runs a variety of both internal and external tournaments throughout the year, including a frostbite league and summer challenge.

We host a range of fun social shoots and activities throughout the year, giving archers the opportunity to get together and catch up as a club.
The events are suitable for those of all abilities and ages, and often finish with members getting a coffee in the sports bar.
